Pilot Project
This is a critical time in our nation’s history and there is a need for a well conceived and well executed plan of action and this is the rationale for having created the World Youth Exposition! The World Youth Exposition is the Super Bowl of Youth Development, and its core purpose is to target generations of individuals who were traditionally victims of a broken social service system.
This project was established to help concerned patrons to engage in constructive problem solving as it relates to the vital areas of: spirituality, health, education and economic development. We believe in an eclectic and partnership oriented approach to remedying critical issues. We have devised a plan that galvanizes to action diverse groups in order to serve as tools of state craft. These partnerships will facilitate a unity platform that fuses the gifts and talents of industry leaders in music, sports, education and research to help improve the quality of life for people in the U.S. The World Youth Exposition will serve as a grass-roots stimulus plan for the U.S.!
World Youth Music Festival
The love for music is the one thing that we all have in common. Research has shown how important music therapy is in terms of helping individuals to grow spiritually, plus our youth will have a lot of fun hearing that knowledge is power coming from some of their favorite artists.
Sports Festival
Intervention with present and former professional athletes will allow us to utilize activities as a modality or teaching model. Activities are designed to engage our youth in problem-solving relative to real life situations – so that they will learn not to result to violence, drugs or alcohol. Our annual 10 K road race for adults and 1 mile fun run / walk for kids during May 29, 2010 is a great way to end national physical fitness and sports month. Our main objective is to sound the alarm about the childhood obesity epidemic. Our “Get Fit Young America (GFYA)” program– was designed to get young people acquainted with health, physical education, recreation and dance. This program is to be implemented in fitness centers nationwide. Sports Activities are the fun sports challenges is where the intervention begins – it will help our youth to understand that although education is important, we want them to have balance in their lives by doing some of the team building activities that they enjoy as well. Listed below are the activities that make up the Sports Festival.
Education Festival
This initiative will propose the Foundation’s education commission. The U.S. need a Newly Designed School System – Our team of researchers have also discovered that the U.S. needs an administrative tool that is designed to serve as a “shot in the arm” to the regions that need reformation the most. This innovative solution will be the driving force behind education reform.
Welcome to YOUTHVILLE!
YOUTHVILLE – is the virtual village where our youth will have fun while they go a level of excellence in education! Based on the African proverb that suggest, it takes a village to raise a child” – this production is packaged within the matrix of the World Youth Exposition. The best youth supporting organizations in the U.S. receive cooperative marketing opportunities as they partner to help underwrite a platform to help improve the over all quality of life for people in the U.S. This project will give concerned patrons the capacity to engage in constructive problem solving as it relates to health, education and economic development. It will do two amazing things: 1.) Draw youth to this life enrichment experience because it was established to be both fun and inspirational and 2.) as an underwriter a small business can get the opportunity to experience cost-effective cooperative marketing opportunities on a large scale.
